I'm a bit sad that Selfish Sewing Week is over already. Thank you so much to Rachael and Jill for hosting the series. It was so nice to make some things for myself and I can't tell you how excited I am to have some new clothes in my wardrobe. I haven't really been shopping since before I was pregnant with Roman! That's like 4 years ago!
I got a lot more done this week than I thought I would and I feel totally set for the warmer weather now.
I've been wearing my Big T Feeding Top so much, that I decided to whip up another one. This one is made from a tissue knit with little silver polka dots on it. Again, I went with the tunic length on it...I really love tops this length. They're perfect for chucking on over a pair of leggings!
Making the Colette Sorbetto has really sold me on the effort it takes to do a muslin first. I'm so happy with the fit...though I think I might lower the neckline some more.
I can't believe I cut into my Caesar Liberty Lawn too, it was my favourite piece in my stash. I was so scared, but I'm glad I did. Because, I tell you what's better than staring at lush fabric in your stash? Wearing it all day and catching it every time you go past a mirror!
I must thank hubby for taking all these
