Kids Clothes Week Challenge

April 22, 2012 by Abby 2 Comments

So I’ve signed up for the KCWC over at elsiemarley.com and I’m excited about it! I’ve had a few projects in the back of my mind, so this was the perfect excuse to actually make them. The idea is to spend 1 hour each day for one week sewing some kids clothes.

Meg hosts the KCWC twice a year and I love the concept! If you think you’d like to sign up too, head on over to the KCWC sign up and add your name.

I’m hoping to make Roman some shoes, a few pairs of pants and some tops. At the end of the week, I’ll show you what I’ve come up with.

Good luck! The shoes sound interesting.

I’m about to embark on a dress for Miss A. Now that I have my overlocker it should be easier than before, but I haven’t sewn with stretch material for a very long time. Hoping it works out okay.

Thanks Mon! I’m sure you’ll be fine. Just do a test bit first. I nearly always need to put the differential feed up a little bit with stretch fabric to stop it ruffling.
